Faith Ranches
Object:
To set up ranches for
children and youths to age 22 that have been abused, abandoned, orphaned, or
troubled to raise them in the admonition of the LORD.
Intention:
To have one or more ranch/s per state
as the LORD opens the door, to help the youth and children of the United States
to be raised knowing Jesus and being lead to Him with the care and understanding
of the Christian community and make him/her become a productive, responsible
adult with work ethics.
Article I:
Each Ranch is to be set up on
land either donated, leased or purchased as the LORD wills, with a house or
houses, a barn, outbuildings, garden, flower beds, and animals to meet the needs
of the inhabitants.
Article II:
The children/youths in CFR
care will be raised in as close to a real home environment as is possible. House
parents will be selected based on their ability to provide a loving, caring,
atmosphere with discipline as needed.
Article III:
CFR will provide all the
essential needs for the children including, but not limited to: clothing, food,
shelter, education, love, discipline, religious instruction and
devotions.
Article IV:
As a Ranch, we intend to have
animals such as horses, cows, sheep, pigs, dogs, cats or other such as the
children need for training or pets. If they want to have a 4-H project or county
fair animal, this will be encouraged.
The reason for the animals is two fold: one) because
many of these children will respond to an animal when human love fails
and
two) for food and training purposes.
Article V:
A large garden to include
various vegetables, fruits (if applicable), and other food needs will be a part
of each ranch so that the children will have plenty of fresh fruits and/or
vegetables and for training purposes.
Article VI:
Depending on
the size of each home, there will be 5-8 children residing with each couple that
are the house parents. They will have chores just as if they were living with
their own parents, and will be responsible to do their homework from school, and
any other duties as assigned.
Article VII:
Whenever
possible, children from one family that comes to us will be placed in one home
together. These children do not need to have the added burden of being split up
and shipped off to different homes and locations. They need the security of
being together, raised together, and feeling loved in a home
environment.
Article VIII:
A Christian
school and a Chapel will be included as a part of the overall goal of meeting
both physical and spiritual needs of these children and youths.
Article IX:
A clinic may be
established on each sight for the medical well being of all participants,
whether adult, youth or child.
Article X:
A bond between
the child and his/her birth parents (if still living) with the ultimate goal of
getting them reunited in their own home is necessary to the well being of the
child and their parent/s.
Article XI:
If all rights
have been terminated or the parents are no longer living, then bonding with the
house parents is paramount. Bonding with the house parents is very important
even if the child/ren are to be returned to the natural parents at some distant
future. Love and care is our by-word.
Article XII:
If a child is
to be placed for adoption, CFR will help to find Christian adults who would be
capable of providing a loving home and bonding with the right child or children.
If brother and sisters are in our care, we will endeavor to have them placed in
the same home with loving parents.
Always our goal is to make sure the children are taken care of in the most
approved, Christian manner and that their needs are met to the utmost. Providing
not only a home with caring, loving house parents, but also work ethics, chores,
and also the knowledge of Jesus Christ in their lives
daily.
Christian schooling to meet their educational needs, including music, sports,
art, writing, along with a full schedule of class work and a Chapel for the
spiritual needs are also necessary. Animals are to be used for instruction, training,
food (if applicable), and also to teach the children how to love or to reach
(at times) the children with love. There will be children/youths that come
to us that have never known any kind of love or even a home life or what caring
is all about. We want to give them the utmost instruction on how to live in
peace with fellow house mates in a family environment, and to come to know the
LORD Jesus Christ.
